Because I don't use preservatives in my cookies, they are best eaten within a few days of baking. Ask me about those that have a longer shelf life.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today, I baked peanut butter, cranberry oatmeal, and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for orders.  The house was warm and smelled delightful, while I watched the rain turn to snow turn back into rain.  I ran my deliveries at lunchtime; each time I returned, the smell of baked goods was strong.  How do my neighbors stand it?

Come taste a sample!

I finally got a little display tray and I've set it up at the concierge counter of DelRay Tower.  If you want to sample something before you decide to order, be sure to keep checking the desk to see what's on display.

Maple Leaves

I was inspired to do an autumn-themed cookie.  I have some maple leaf cookie cutters, so I decided to create a maple flavored cookie.  It took a couple of tries, but I think I have a cookie that fits the cutter.  Using pure, dark amber maple syrup, these cookies remind me of whole wheat pancakes drizzled with maple syrup goodness.  The colored icing made the cookies look the part.

Classic Chocolate Chip

Nothing else is a more traditional comfort food.  My grandmother's version has a nice, crispy bite without being crumbly.  The balance between cookie and the Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate chips ensures satisfaction in every bite.

Peanut Buttery Goodness!

The kitchen smells wonderful!

Golden and crisp with a sweet chewiness in the center
The warm kitchen in this cool weather is very comforting.  These peanut butter cookies have a light, crisp edge with a satisfying peanut butter chew.  Ending with a buttery finish as it practically melts in your mouth.

Snickerdoodles & Peanut Butter

As I sat down to plan out my week, I really tried hard to think what I was going to bake as my first set to showcase.  I finally opted on some of my most requested favorites:  crisp, cinnamon-y snickerdoodles and buttery peanut butter cookies.  I'm excited to share these delights with you.

If you'd like to order a dozen or two of these cookies, please email me at:  allaboutacookie@gmail.com by Tuesday night.  I'll be baking on Wednesday.
Cookies are $5 a dozen.

Sugar Cookies!

Got my first cookie order.  Spent the morning baking traditional sugar cookies.  There's just something satisfying about this beautiful, simple combination of butter and sugar.  I threw in a hint of lemon, just like Nana used to do.

Look how the light twinkles in the sugar coating

Party Pics

Wow!  The party was amazing!  I was surprised how many people stopped by.  I feel like my treats were loved.  Here are a few pics of my display:

All the stacked goodies
I made butter cookies in the shape of candy corn.  How fun!

These were the fudgy brownies.  Dense chocolate that almost
sticks to your teeth.  The chocolate-y flavor had no end!

These cakey brownies were lighter in texture, but no less
chocolate-y.  The Godiva chocolate ganache frosting
was sinful.

Pumpkin whoopie pies were like fluffy pumpkin pie with
a creamy filling.  You can't have just one!
They were all gone at the end of the night.  Which one was your favorite?
